 |O people, indeed Ali and the pure ones from my descendants are the smaller weight, and the Quran is the greater weight. Each one of them informs about its companion and agrees with it; they will not separate until they come to me at the pond (Kawsar).
-|اَلا اِنَّهُمْ اُمَناءُ اللَّهِ في خَلْقِهِ وَحُكَّامُهُ في اَرْضِهِ. أَلا وَقَدْ اَدَّيْتُ، اَلا وَقَدْ بَلَّغْتُ، اَلا وَقَدْ اَسْمَعْتُ، اَلا وَقَدْ اَوْضَحْتُ. ألا وَاِنَّ اللَّهَ عزَّوجَلَّ قالَ وَاَنَا قُلْتُ عَنِ اللَّهِ عَزَّوَجَلَّ. اَلا اِنَّهُ لا {{قرآن|اَميرَالْمُؤْمِنينَ}} غَيْرَ اَخي هذا. اَلا لا تَحِلُّ اِمْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنينَ بَعْدي لِأَحَدٍ غَيْرُهُ.

 |Indeed, they are the trustees of Allah among His creation and His rulers on His earth. I have conveyed, I have delivered, I have made clear, and I have explained. Indeed, Allah, the Exalted, has said, and I have spoken about Allah, the Exalted.
 Indeed, there is no 'Commander of the Faithful' other than my brother. Know that the leadership of the Commander of the Faithful after me is not permissible for anyone other than him.
